GRIEVANCE COMMITTEE
This committee requires annual, mandatory training. The Grievance Committee’s role is to act as a Grand Jury as it pertains to Ethics and Arbitration Complaints in compliance with the National Association Code of Ethics and Arbitration Guidelines.
ETHICS:
1. Receives and evaluates ethics complaints and arbitration requests.
2. Determines if taken as true on face value, a hearing is warranted.
3. Makes parliamentary evaluation as is necessary to make that decision.
IN MATTERS OF ARBITRATION IT DETERMINES:
1. Whether the matter is properly arbitrable.
2. Whether arbitration is mandatory or voluntary.
3. Whether the proper parties are named in the request for arbitration.
